For the first time in history, the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts (founded in 1890) invites and selects a delegation of 12 Spanish Artists to the prestigious "Salon 2008".
The SNBA Salon has hosted many of history's artists and is the same of which Rodin was vice-president and involved participation of many fine artists who are honoured in art history including Delacroix, Puvis De Chavannes and Manet.
The invited artists represent Spain as a whole as well as the principality of Asturias, Aragon, the Basque country, Castile, Cataluña and León.
Artists Pilar Bamba, Marta Casals, Paco Chika, Christine Diaz, Marisa Espinosa, Malules Fernandez, Adrian Fermandois, Jose Ramon Lobez, Daniel Lorenzo, Jacqueline Martin-Miller, Carmen Raton and Carmen Sasieta present contemporary works reflecting the richness and diversity of Spain.
It is with the High Patronage of Monsieur Nicolas Sarkozy President of the Republic of France, Monsieur Francois Bellec, President of Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and supported by King Juan Carlos of Spain and Mr Eduardo Alonso Luengo, Cultural Attache of the Embassy of Spain in
